Gali Satta - Privacy Policy
Read the Gali Satta privacy policy: what information we collect, how we use and protect it, your data-protection rights, and how to contact us with any privacy questions.
Information We Collect
What we collect
galisatta.org is an independent information guide that publishes Satta results, charts, and reference material. We collect a minimal set of data, limited to what is genuinely necessary to keep the Site functional and to understand how visitors engage with our content. We do not operate a gaming platform and have no legitimate need for payment, identity, or account data of any kind.
Automatically collected technical data
When you visit any page on galisatta.org, our hosting infrastructure and Google Analytics automatically record: your IP address and approximate geographic region (state or district level within India), browser name and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, average time on page, and device category (desktop, tablet, or mobile). This information is processed in aggregate; IP addresses are anonymised by Google Analytics where required, and no individual visitor is identified from the records we hold.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use three categories of cookies: strictly necessary cookies for core Site functionality (these cannot be disabled), analytics cookies via Google Analytics to measure traffic and content performance, and preference cookies to remember your display settings between visits. You can opt out of non-essential cookies using Chrome's Site Settings panel, Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection, or any cookie-consent banner we display on your first visit. Opting out of analytics cookies will not prevent you from reading any content on the Site.
Information you provide voluntarily
If you email us or submit a feedback form, you voluntarily share your name, email address, and message content. We retain only what is needed to resolve your enquiry and delete it once correspondence is concluded.
What we do not collect
We do not collect UPI identifiers (PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM handles), bank account numbers, Aadhaar numbers, PAN card numbers, or payment card details. galisatta.org does not create user accounts, process deposits or withdrawals, or hold funds. Any transactions with external operators, including Gali Satta, which is not affiliated with this Site, are governed entirely by those operators' own privacy policies.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected data exclusively to maintain and improve galisatta.org as a free, accurate information resource. Aggregated page-view metrics from Google Analytics tell us which Satta result charts, number-history tables, and explainer articles attract the most Indian readers, enabling us to prioritise updates and address content gaps. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
Email addresses and message content received via contact submissions are used solely to reply to the sender and are deleted once correspondence is concluded, ordinarily within 30 days. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months in Google Analytics before automatic deletion, consistent with Google's default retention settings. Aggregated, anonymised traffic figures may be retained indefinitely for internal benchmarking purposes only. We do not add any contact detail to a mailing list without your explicit opt-in consent.
Where galisatta.org links to third-party destinations, including Gali Satta, which is not affiliated with this Site, those websites collect and process data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review independently. We have no visibility into, and accept no responsibility for, personal data shared with or collected by any external operator, payment processor, or gaming platform.
Your Rights
Your data rights as an India-based visitor are governed primarily by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Under this Act you have the right to access personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate records, and to request erasure of data we no longer have a lawful basis to retain. Visitors from the European Economic Area additionally hold equivalent rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability.
You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time through your browser settings or our on-site consent tool; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out before that point. Should you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (once operational under the DPDPA) or, if you are located outside India, with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any right listed above, write to us at the address in the "Contact us" section below. We will acknowledge your request within five business days and aim to complete it within 30 calendar days. We may ask for reasonable identity verification before disclosing, correcting, or deleting personal data records.
